Warriors Orochi 3 has over 130 playable characters from many games, such as Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Mystic Heroes, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War, Warriors: Legends of Troy, Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll and some original ones. So today, in this article, I’ll be only focusing on the 4 new original characters that have added to the series (I’ll do the crossover characters one after this).
Kaguya
- A graceful and elegant young woman who mysteriously appears before the remaining heroes, following the chaos wrought by the appearance of the Hydra. Armed only with her sakaki branch and the miraculous ability to traverse time, she provides the only hope of survival for our heroes. She claims to have sent from the Mystic Realm to this land of chaos, but what is her true story..?

Shuten Dōji
- A mighty warrior of strength and intimidating presence. The two horns extending from the top of his head suggest something superhuman about him, but he himself knows nothing of his own identity, save for his name. Driven by the desire to understand who he is, he takes to the battlefield, armed with his giant gourd.

- A young man who has mechanized his own body so as to obtain ultimate strength. He died in an earlier battle, but was rescued and resurrected in his new robotic form. The four discs rotating around his limbs act as deadly weapons.

- The leader of the Mystic Army, who has finally deigned to make an appearance in this land of turmoil. He has unwavering confidence in his own strength, and the complete trust of his subordinates.
