Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends DLC + More Dynasty Warriors 7 DLC Too!?

So, I’ve got many enquiries about the Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends DLC, also means downloadable content (although the game isn’t even out yet!) – The game is coming in US on November 15, and EU on November 18 on PlayStation 3. I’ve uploaded both interview videos (both part 1 and part 2) with the producer on TKE Vodcast channel, so you can watch them now.

As you can see in the video, the producer has already mentioned that Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends will have a DLC. The weapons and costumes (DLC) that you’ve bought for Dynasty Warriors 7 can be used in Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends, but for the Conquest Mode DLC stages, you need to use the “REMIX” (called “Mixjoy” in Japan) feature with your Dynasty Warriors 7 copy in order to play it. I hope this doesn’t sound complicated to you yet because more complicated stuffs are in the next paragraph!

So, they’ll be 3 types of DLC coming in November. One is mainly the DLC that works on Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends (DW7XL), another one is the DLC that works on both Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends + Dynasty Warriors 7 (DW7XL+DW7) and another one is for Dynasty Warriors 7 (DW7) only (yes this one isn’t related to the Xtreme Legends, but it also confirmed that there are more DLC specifically for Dynasty Warriors 7 coming!

“OMG CHIN THIS IS TOO CONFUSING!!” – If you have this problem, drop your enquiries on the comment box and I’ll see if I can explain a little bit more. As for what is the content (“OMG I WANT DA QIAO’S TWIN CANES!! IS IT THERE? IS IT THERE? I DID A TWITPETITION AND ACHIEVED 100 THERE!” – I seriously doubt it, remember the producers of DW6, Strikeforce, Multi Raid 2 are different, that’s why the moveset in DW7 is quite close to DW5 instead of DW6/Strikeforce) – Okay, calm down, as for the content, I don’t know yet, but keep an eye on the KOEI Facebook for the further updates.

Okay, so how about New Zealand, Mexico and etc? Are the DLCs going to be there? I don’t know at this stage, I don’t want you to have high hope either. I’m pretty honest and straight forward (because fans are too smart these days, I can’t lie), so as soon as I have the info, I will share it to you! (The screenshots I’ve shown above are mainly focusing about Guo Jia, it’s actually a hint that the next media which is his gameplay video and the game asset will be dropped and available on this coming Tuesday, October 25.

Dynasty Warriors 7 & Gundam 3 DLC (August 2011)

You know it when Internet gets a step further and it changed the user’s behaviour and some of them tended to step on your head twice harder when you’re being open of sharing info and ready getting the blame when it’s nothing related to you at all. Yes, impatience is what I mean here, but it’s fine as I’ve learned and I’m not that fussed. I do the best I can as I know I can’t absorb thousands of complaints every day so I hope you don’t get offended if I missed out anything. I’ve got my Dynasty Warriors 7 and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 DLC info to share here today.

First of all, it’s Dynasty Warriors 7 DLC. Some of you might have seen the Jin/Other school uniform already out in Japan but unfortunately it’s not included in the this Pack 4 (sorry I thought it would but it’s in the next batch of DLC), so the DLC for Dynasty Warriors 7 Pack 4 (August) are: Dynasty Warriors 4 Costume Pack, Weapon Rank Pack 1, Stage Pack 2 (Guan Du & Chang Ban from Dynasty Warriors 2) and New Stage & BGM Pack 2.

COSTUME PACK 3
Release Date: August 16 (US), August 17 (EU)
Price: $0.99 / €0.99 / £0.79 / 80 MSP
- Use costumes from DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 for all 42 characters who appeared in the game. Furthermore, Cao Pi, Ling Tong, Guan Ping, and Xing Cai are included, too.

- Play the ‘Changban’ and ‘Guandu’ stages in CONQUEST MODE, with 3 scenarios remastered from DYNASTY WARRIORS 2 for each stage. - This pack features a brand new stage for Conquest Mode: Ji Castle! Three distinct scenarios are available to be played out on this stage, the home of the King of Nanzhong, Meng Huo. Additionally, 8 BGM music are included, featuring tracks from DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 5.

For Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3, the first few packs (supposed to be released in the end of July) were delayed in US but it would be the similar to the EU ones from now on, it’s been fixed finally. This is the DLC schedule of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 for August. Sorry because Arios Gundam and Seravee Gundam didn’t make it into August’s schedule, I’ll keep you updated with their exact date and details when the time comes.

This Is What You Told Me About The Dynasty Warriors

I’m your friends more than just a community manager for TECMO KOEI. While I’m in charge for this community, I don’t really see our audience as just the fans but my friends, I don’t see this community as a community but a family. This is also the reason why I’ve connected everyone with my real life and shared my experience and everything to the friends, and vice versa. Today, I’m not going to talk about myself here, but I have some Dynasty Warriors life recipe to share. I know most people love Dynasty Warriors, mainly because of the Three Kingdoms, the music (damn those awesome instrument works), the easy hack-n-slash game system even those bishies (pretty boys) – but today, I’m going to share something that I’ve learned from 2 people about the 7th installment of Dynasty Warriors (yes, that’s Dynasty Warriors 7), they’re Nina (from USA) and Alex (from Croatia), they have honestly told me about something that I didn’t notice before.

Nina told me one of the reason that got her hooked into Dynasty Warriors 7 is the town bit of the game, which you could walk around, talk to the soldiers and the soldiers / unknown generals shared his life story. For example, when you met the soldier in first chapter of the story, he just joined into the force and didn’t know what to do, then in few chapters later, he’s telling you he’s getting married, then after few more chapters, he’s telling you about his family. She thinks it’s really good to have the town part in Dynasty Warriors 7 so you’re not just running around, hacking and slashing all the way through.

I’ve also met Alex, he’s a big fan of Dynasty Warriors and he told me one of the reason he thinks Dynasty Warriors 7 is good is because of the cinematic story. He started to play Dynasty Warriors series long time ago, and because he already “made friends” and has some sort of virtual “relationship” with the Dynasty Warriors characters for a long time, by playing through the storyline and watching the “friends” died in the cut scenes (emotional) and couldn’t use them in the next level in Story Mode (more realistic) made him really sad. He was so excited about Dynasty Warriors 7 before it’s coming out and he really enjoyed the game too.

I think those are the main 2 new elements in Dynasty Warriors 7 that made people really happy (although some are still complaining about the Free Mode – I’ve already raised this to the team for your information) – but yeah, it’s really good to hear the feedback from you guys – no matter it’s good or bad, all are welcome. And now, it’s something related to E3 but still sticking to the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

Dynasty Warriors (working title) has been announced for PlayStation Vita in E3 2011 yesterday – any idea or suggestion on what name you would recommend? This version of Dynasty Warriors will allow you to use the PS Vita’s touch pad and sensor for intuitive controls and also allow you to connect together and enjoy an epic experience, and it allows up to 4 players co-op multi-player (online) – I think this is something new from us. Check out the trailers and the gameplay videos (the game is still in development) and I hope you think it’s something good. I personally can’t wait to see more from the team – this is developed by the “Strikeforce” team (if you could still remember) and I have a faith in them, I hope it could turn out to be something good!

Closing Comment: It looks fun but I personally don’t think those 2 new elements that my friends love would get into it, but we’ll see how this PlayStation Vita of Dynasty Warriors would turn out to be like.
